Issued Decisions:

– Mansoura Prosecution ordered, yesterday evening, the detention renewal of activist Mohamed Adel for 15 days pending investigations conducted with him into case No. 4118 of 2018 Aga Administrative.

– Giza Criminal Court decided, yesterday evening, to release human rights lawyer Haytham Mohamdein, student Youssef Rieou and activist Abeer al-Safti under precautionary measures pending case No. 718 of 2018, but the State Security Prosecution appealed the decision.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 30 defendants in the case known as “ISIS Alexandria” for the October 16 hearing.

– The Court of Cassation accepted the appeal submitted by 5 Al-Ahly Club fans challenging the 15-year rigorous prison sentences handed to them in the case known as “burning Al-Ahly Club’s covered hall”, and ordered the retrial of the defendants.

– Giza Criminal Court adjourned the retrial procedures for 5 defendants in the case known as “October Terrorist Cell” for the November 5 hearing.

– Giza Criminal Court adjourned the retrial procedures for one defendant in the case known as “Ain Shams Violence Incidents” for the November 6 hearing.

– The Military Court sentenced 9 defendants to life imprisonment and 4 others to 15 years of rigorous imprisonment, and handed down a 10-year rigorous imprisonment to four other defendants and a 10-year rigorous imprisonment to five others. The court also declared it has no jurisdiction over the trial of 140 defendants, and ordered the acquittal of two others in the case known in the media as “Taking pictures of Belbeis air base”.

– Giza Criminal Court ordered the detention renewal of Dr. Shady al-Ghazaly for 15 days pending case No. 621 of 2018 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the retrial of Habib al-Adly and 10 officials affiliated to the Interior Ministry in the case known as “Corruption of the Ministry of Interior” for the November 4 hearing.

– Giza Criminal Court ordered the detention renewal of Moataz Wadnan for 45 days in case No. 441 of 2018 State Security.

– Giza Criminal Court ordered the detention renewal of video editor Ahmed Tareq AKA Arnoub for 45 days in case No. 467 of 2018 State Security.
