Appeal of the defendants in Mansoura Deterrence Cell case accepted
The Court of Cassation, sitting today at the Higher Court of Justice, accepted the appeal filed by the defendants against the death sentences handed down to them in the case known in the media as the case of 
Mansoura Deterrence Cell and ordered their retrial before a different circuit.

opposition judge decided to renew the imprisonment of journalist Asmaa Zeidan for 15 days pending investigations on charges of insulting the president.
