– Appeal of former Minister of Interior Habib al-Adli in “The Interior Ministry corruption” case accepted

The Court of Cassation convened in the High Court of Justice accepted the appeal submitted by the former Minister of Interior Habib Al-Adli to a sentence of seven years in the case known in the media as “The Interior Ministry corruption” case issued by Cairo Criminal Court and ordered his retrial before a different chamber.

– Trial of the defendants of “Mohammed Mahmoud street” incidents case postponed

Cairo Criminal Court, convened at the Police Cadets Institute, presided over by Justice Hussein Qandil, postponed the retrial of the 4 defendants in the case known in the media as “Killing a police recruit in Mohammed Mahmoud street” to 10 February to continue hearing the defense pleading.

-Aggravated imprisonment for a defendant in “15 May violence incidents” case

Cairo Criminal Court, convened at the Police Cadets Institute in Tora, presided over by Justice Hussain Qandil, sentenced a defendant to 3 years aggravated imprisonment in the case known in the media as “15 May violence incidents” case.
