– Cairo Court of Appeal set the July 8 hearing to start the first session of the retrial of 16 defendants accused in case 173 known in the media as the “civil society organizations” case, in which the Court of Cassation had annulled the sentences handed down to them last April.

– Cairo Criminal Court decided to release journalists Hamdi al-Zaim and Muhammad Hassan with precautionary measures in the case known in the media as “The Hijab report” case.

– The Administrative Court upheld the decision of the Minister of Interior to refuse to allow a defendant accused of joining the Muslim Brotherhood to write articles from his prison to be published in print and electronic newspapers.

-The Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew the detention of 3 Zamalek fans for 15 days pending investigations on charges of joining a group and causing riots.

– The Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew the detention of 14 members of Ultras Ahlawi, 15 days pending investigation into the riots that took place during the football match between Ahly and the Gabonese football club CF Mounana.
